The "Zoom" light-activated system can make your teeth up to eight shades lighter in just one hour. A whitening gel with hydrogen peroxide will be applied to your teeth. Then, the "Zoom" light and low heat generated by it breakdown the hydrogen peroxide, allowing oxygen to enter the surface of your teeth. The dentin and enamel are bleached. The gel will be applied three times during an hour. Many patients find whitening puts the sparkle back in their smile.
